Parking: Village and harbour car parks near the piers. Balscadden car park for the rock mark. Arrive early on summer evenings.
Public transport: DART to Howth station, then a short walk to the harbour or Balscadden.
By road: R105 into Howth village; follow harbour signs for pier access.

Access note: Working harbour: keep clear of commercial berths. Rock marks get slippery in wet weather and cut off on a rising tide.
