Shore fishing marks data

Machine-readable export of every published Wicklow, Dublin Bay, and Wexford research mark on Irish Shore Fishing — coordinates, species, access notes, verification tier, and canonical page URL.

Fields

Field	Description
slug	Stable mark identifier used in URLs and APIs.
name	Display name on mark pages.
county	Wicklow or Dublin.
lat / lon	Map coordinates (WGS84). Wicklow uses display coordinates when set.
type	Mark ground type: Beach, Pier, Rock, etc.
species	Target species labels for the mark.
accessNotes	Parking, paths, and access guidance from the mark guide.
verificationTier	Wicklow marks are field-verified. Dublin uses researched, verified, or live_ranked.
url	Canonical mark page on irishshorefishing.ie.

Licence and attribution

This dataset is released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY-4.0). You may copy, redistribute, and adapt the data for any purpose, including commercial use, provided you credit Irish Shore Fishing with a link to irishshorefishing.ie.

Suggested attribution: “Shore fishing mark data from Irish Shore Fishing (irishshorefishing.ie), CC-BY-4.0.” The JSON export includes a _license field with the same terms. Live conditions, scores, and session plans are not included — only static mark catalogue fields.

Catalogue size is kept in sync with the site: 20 Wicklow marks and 17 Dublin marks at time of build. Methodology for scoring and verification is on how our calls work.
