Ennereilly strand south sits in the same coastal belt as Brittas but fishes as its own access story. The approach road is rough and the car park small, which filters casual traffic. Specimen smoothhound, ray, and seasonal bass are the reasons anglers make the drive. Summer can look like a nursery beach for small fish outside the key windows, so plan around tide and season rather than turning up blind. Surfers share the lane; respect private land signs and do not block gates. Ennereilly is for anglers who already read conditions and accept a walk from the car. On marginal days, Greystones or Wicklow pier may save a blank. When it works, it is one of the south coast's better open beaches for hounds and bass.
