Dublin mark · high confidence
Long firm-sand beach on Bull Island for bass and flatfish, with evening autumn tides the classic window. Codling after winter colour.
High confidence beach pattern for Dublin Bay. Live plan rankings remain Wicklow-only.

Mark details
Causeway / wooden bridge approaches off the Howth road (R105). Parking along the causeway approaches; check local rules. Ample room to spread out once on the strand.
Dublin Port (North Wall) times. Open sand: half flood to high is the usual Dublin Bay beach pattern (unlike the Wicklow shingle belt falling-tide bias).
Wide open beach: wind and spray with little shelter. Soft sand near channel edges. Do not drive onto soft strand without local knowledge. Bull Island is a nature reserve: follow access rules.
Flood to high for bass and flounder on lug or rag. Evening autumn tides are the published hotspot window. Eastern end toward Sutton Creek is often named as the better channel edge.
