The last Wicklow shore venue south of Arklow before the Wexford border. Shallow sandy beach with low rock platforms at the southern end. Two-zone beach: deeper water to the LEFT (north), low rock platforms to the RIGHT (south). The south rock platforms deliver bass to both bait and lures, most anglers commit to one zone and miss the other.

From the shore
The two halves of this beach fish completely differently and most anglers commit to one side. Left side (north) = bait and distance for flatfish, hounds, dogs. Right side (south) = lures off the rock platforms for bass. Plan a two-rod session deliberately to cover both. Tactical correction from the Eastern Regional Fisheries Board guide: AVOID wired grip leads at the southern end, hooked bass dive towards the cover of rock and kelp and you will lose them. Use plain leads or breakaways with the wires retracted on the south rocks. Lure fishing for bass requires water clarity, calm settled weather, and the dawn/dusk windows. This is the southernmost Wicklow shore venue, south of here is Wexford and the Roney Point / Cahore area which fishes under different patterns.
